Openreach business broadband, deployed and supported.
Telexico is a UK ISP that deploys Openreach-based broadband products — FTTP, FTTC, SoGEA and Ethernet — for businesses across the UK. Managed install, integration and 24/7 UK support. One bill, one support number, no finger-pointing.
What we hear every week.
The frustrations behind why businesses search for openreach business broadband in the first place. If any of these feel familiar, the fix is straightforward.
Openreach is the network — not the service
Openreach owns the UK's main copper and fibre infrastructure but doesn't sell to end-businesses. You buy from a provider that resells Openreach-based products. The provider matters.
Going direct to a tier-1 reseller — call centre support
Some Openreach-product resellers run high-volume operations with tier-1 call-centre support. Fine for households; rough for businesses that need actual engineer-level help.
Confusion about FTTP vs FTTC vs SoGEA
Openreach offers several broadband products. Picking the right one for your address and operation requires understanding what's available and what fits.
PSTN switch-off complicating the upgrade path
Openreach is switching off ISDN and copper PSTN by January 2027. Affects every Openreach-based business broadband package. Migration planning matters.
Openreach broadband, deployed through Telexico
Telexico is a UK ISP that resells Openreach-based products — FTTP (full fibre to your premises), FTTC (fibre to the cabinet, copper to you), SoGEA (single-order data-only access, no phone line attached), and Openreach Ethernet (leased line). We pick the right product for your address and operation, manage the install end-to-end, configure the managed router for VoIP and WiFi, and provide 24/7 UK monitoring and support. Not a high-volume reseller — a managed infrastructure provider where you get the product through us.
The Telexico approach to openreach business broadband.
Six things our customers consistently tell us matter.
Address-level Openreach availability check
We check exactly which Openreach products are available at your unit — FTTP, FTTC, SoGEA, Ethernet feasibility.
Right Openreach product for the operation
FTTP where it's available and the speed is needed; FTTC where FTTP isn't there yet; SoGEA where you've moved phones to VoIP; Ethernet where SLA matters.
Managed installation
Telexico engineer attends alongside the Openreach engineer — kit doesn't get dropped on the desk unfinished.
Integration with hosted VoIP
Telexico-managed router with VoIP QoS, VLAN segregation, optional failover. Hosted VoIP from the same provider on the same bill.
24/7 UK monitoring and support
We see Openreach incidents affecting your line and respond — not a ticket queue waiting for you to notice.
One provider relationship
Openreach broadband plus hosted VoIP plus business WiFi plus AI receptionist — one Telexico bill, one support number.
Built around Openreach's portfolio and your operation
Openreach offers several broadband products, each with different speed profiles, install timescales and price points. Picking the right one matters. FTTP is the long-term answer for most businesses; FTTC bridges the gap where FTTP isn't yet available; SoGEA suits businesses on hosted VoIP with no need for a phone line; Ethernet (leased line) is the right answer where SLA uptime matters. We map your operation to the right product.
How it works for businesses like yours.
Three real-world setups we deliver across the UK.
SME on FTTC moving to FTTP
Most common Openreach upgrade path — FTTC has hit its operational limits, FTTP delivers the bandwidth headroom.
Hosted VoIP businesses on SoGEA
Businesses that have moved phones to VoIP can drop the copper phone line — SoGEA delivers broadband only at lower cost.
Regulated operations on Openreach Ethernet
Healthcare, financial services, regulated professional firms where SLA uptime matters — Openreach Ethernet leased line.
Why UK businesses choose Telexico for Openreach broadband
We're a Wolverhampton-headquartered UK ISP that deploys Openreach-based products with managed install and 24/7 UK support. Not a call-centre reseller. UK-based provider
Wolverhampton-headquartered. Engineers cover the West Midlands daily; UK-wide install via our partner network. Real UK engineer support, UK data residency, UK contractual relationship — not US-routed SaaS.

Every engagement starts with a no-obligation audit of your current setup. Honest recommendation — sometimes that's "stay with your current provider after negotiation." We'd rather be honest than oversell.
Transparent pricing
What you sign for is what you pay — including renewal. No teaser pricing that jumps 30-100% at year two. No mid-contract CPI shock. Predictable multi-year cost from day one.
One provider, one platform
Broadband, hosted VoIP, business WiFi, AI Receptionist, 4G/5G failover, CCTV consolidated onto one Telexico relationship. Single bill, single support number, single engineer when something needs attention.

Frequently asked questions
Is Telexico Openreach?
No — Telexico is a UK ISP that resells Openreach-based products through wholesale channels. Openreach owns the underlying network; Telexico delivers the managed service to your business. Honest framing — we're not pretending to be Openreach.
What Openreach products do you deploy?
FTTP (full fibre), FTTC (fibre to the cabinet), SoGEA (data-only access), Openreach Ethernet (leased line), and where available, the various Openreach business tiers including high-speed FTTP up to 1Gbps+ and Ethernet up to 10Gbps.
How do I know which Openreach product I should choose?
Address-level check first — we see what's actually available at your unit. Then we map your operation (call volumes, video usage, cloud apps, uptime needs) to the right product. Honest recommendation, not the most expensive option.
Can you deploy FTTP if my address has CityFibre coverage too?
Yes — we deploy from both Openreach and CityFibre. Where both are available, we recommend honestly based on price, speed availability and your specific requirements. Often CityFibre offers better symmetric speed at the same price; sometimes Openreach is the better choice.
What's the install timescale?
FTTP typically 10-15 working days where the building is enabled; longer where Openreach needs to enable it. FTTC and SoGEA similar. Openreach Ethernet (leased line) 60-120 working days because of physical fibre work.
What about the PSTN switch-off?
Openreach is switching off ISDN and copper PSTN by January 2027. Telexico handles the migration to hosted VoIP plus FTTP or SoGEA. Planning now is much easier than under 2026 deadline pressure.
Can I bundle with hosted phones?
Yes — most Openreach broadband customers do. One provider, one bill, one support number for the line plus the phones. We configure QoS on the managed router so voice traffic stays clear.
Apply this to your business?
Reading the guide is one thing; applying it to your specific operation is another. Send us your current setup — we'll review what you have, what fits, and where to start. No hard sell, no fixed-package pressure.
