Managed guest WiFi for UK hotels.Every room, every guest, every device.
Bad WiFi means bad reviews. Hotels live and die on TripAdvisor, Booking.com and direct repeat business — and "WiFi was terrible" is one of the fastest ways to lose all three. Our managed hotel WiFi covers every room, captures guest data through captive portals, and gets supported by a UK team when something needs attention.
What we hear every week.
The frustrations behind why businesses search for guest wifi for hotels in the first place. If any of these feel familiar, the fix is straightforward.
"Some rooms have no signal."
Hotels are big buildings with thick walls. A single router in the lobby covers nothing. Guests in room 312 leave a 2-star review specifically mentioning WiFi. Three of those a month and Booking.com rankings drop.
"We email the password to every booking."
Manual, error-prone, painful for non-tech guests, impossible to update without locking everyone out. And it gives away no data — you can't see who connected, what device, when.
"We have no idea who our guests are online."
Every guest connects, every guest is a potential repeat booking — and you capture none of that data. No marketing list, no segmentation, no follow-up. WiFi as pure cost, not asset.
"GDPR worries us and so does Wi-Fi liability."
Guests stream illegal content on hotel WiFi and the hotel is liable. Open networks without proper auth are also a GDPR risk. Most hotels know this but don't know how to fix it without making it worse for guests.
What managed hotel WiFi actually delivers.
We do a site survey of every floor, every corridor, every room — not a guess. From that we design a mesh of enterprise wireless access points covering every guest space. Each access point is positioned to deliver consistent signal whether the guest is in their room, in the bar, in the meeting suite or by the pool. Connection is through a branded captive portal — guests see your logo, your messaging, and optionally provide an email address for repeat-stay marketing. Everything's GDPR-compliant, content-filtered to handle liability, and supported by our UK engineering team when something needs attention.
The Telexico approach to guest wifi for hotels.
Six things our customers consistently tell us matter.
Every-room coverage
Designed from a real site survey. Every guest room gets reliable signal. Public areas too. No 2-star reviews about WiFi.
Branded captive portal
Your logo, your colours, your messaging. Guests connect through a portal that looks like part of the hotel experience, not a corporate IT login.
GDPR-compliant guest data capture
Optional email collection at login. Builds your marketing list automatically. Guest consent captured properly. Direct booking campaigns become possible.
Content filtering + liability protection
Block illegal content at the network level. Per-user bandwidth controls. Audit trail for any liability disputes. Sleep at night.
Usage analytics
See guest connection patterns, peak times, device types, busiest areas. Useful for staffing, capacity planning, repeat-stay marketing.
UK-managed, UK-supported
When the network has an issue at 11pm on Saturday, you reach a UK engineer — not a queue. Same team installs, monitors and supports.
Built around your hotel, not a fixed package.
A 12-room boutique B&B has different needs than a 200-room conference hotel. We start with a site survey of your building, understanding your guest profile, your event/meeting spaces, your back-of-house requirements (housekeeping carts, EPOS, IoT room controls). Then we design a network that fits. Sometimes that's 6 access points; sometimes it's 60. Either way, you'll understand why the design is what it is.
How it works for businesses like yours.
Three real-world setups we deliver across the UK.
30-room boutique hotel
8-12 access points, branded captive portal collecting guest emails, integration with the PMS for room-number authentication. Average TripAdvisor WiFi rating moves from 3.2 to 4.6 typical.
100-room business hotel
Full coverage every floor + conference suites + bar + restaurant. Bandwidth tiers (free guest tier + paid business tier for events). Real-time analytics dashboard for ops manager.
Wedding venue / event hotel
Event-grade temporary capacity for 300+ guests during weddings/conferences. Streams, uploads, livestream — all coexist. WiFi never becomes the bottleneck the bride remembers.
Trusted by UK hotels from boutique to chain.
We work with hotels from independent B&Bs to multi-site groups across the UK. Every install starts with a site survey. Every network is supported by our UK engineering team — not subcontracted out. When something needs attention, you reach the people who installed it. Compliant by default, branded to your hotel, designed for guest experience first.
What you actually get from Telexico.
Honest about scope. No aggressive sales tactics, no surprise renewal jumps, no tier-1 call-centre triage. Real UK engineers, transparent pricing, one provider relationship across the stack.
UK-based provider
Wolverhampton-headquartered. Engineers cover the West Midlands daily; UK-wide install via our partner network. Real UK engineer support, UK data residency, UK contractual relationship — not US-routed SaaS.
Real engineer support
When you call Telexico, you reach someone who can actually fix things. Response SLA backed by real engineering capacity rather than call-centre headcount. Named account manager for ongoing customers.
Free infrastructure review
Every engagement starts with a no-obligation audit of your current setup. Honest recommendation — sometimes that's "stay with your current provider after negotiation." We'd rather be honest than oversell.
Transparent pricing
What you sign for is what you pay — including renewal. No teaser pricing that jumps 30-100% at year two. No mid-contract CPI shock. Predictable multi-year cost from day one.
One provider, one platform
Broadband, hosted VoIP, business WiFi, AI Receptionist, 4G/5G failover, CCTV consolidated onto one Telexico relationship. Single bill, single support number, single engineer when something needs attention.
Migration project-managed
Switching to Telexico isn't DIY. We handle contract audit, notice timing, ordering, parallel running, cutover, old-provider close-out. Customer-visible disruption typically measured in minutes.

Frequently asked questions
How do you handle different room types and signal strength?
Site survey first. Hotels have wildly varied building stock — Victorian conversions, modern new-builds, listed properties, thick walls, thin walls. We measure signal in every guest area before designing the network. The access point count and placement reflects what your specific building needs.
What about meeting rooms and conference spaces?
Designed for the actual capacity those rooms host. 200-person conference rooms get appropriately sized access points and bandwidth. Event-day temporary capacity boosts available for major events. We engineer for the busiest moment, not the average.
Can we use the captive portal for marketing?
Yes — optionally collect guest email and consent for follow-up marketing on login. The portal is fully branded with your logo and messaging. Data flows into Mailchimp, HubSpot, or any major email platform. GDPR-compliant by default.
How does it integrate with our PMS / booking system?
Room-number-and-surname authentication is the most common setup — guest enters their details, validates against the PMS, gets internet for the duration of their stay. Integrates with Opera, Mews, Cloudbeds, Little Hotelier, RoomRaccoon and most other UK hotel PMS platforms.
What if guests stream illegal content?
Content filtering at the network level blocks the most common problem categories (illegal streaming, piracy, adult content if you choose). Plus an audit trail per connected device. Significantly reduces hotel liability exposure.
Do you support tiered free + paid WiFi?
Yes — common setup is free basic tier (good enough for web, email, light streaming) plus a paid premium tier for event guests or business travellers needing more bandwidth. Payment can integrate with the PMS for room-charge billing.
How quickly can you survey and install?
Survey within 1-2 weeks of enquiry. Design and quote within a further week. Install timeline depends on hotel size — small hotels are 1-2 days on-site, larger hotels run 1-2 weeks of phased install. We work around your operating hours and guest schedule.
Apply this to your business?
