How this page was put together

Providers are compared on what each publishes: list prices and the conditions attached to them, minimum terms and mid-contract rises, what the price includes (calls, set-up, porting, support hours), UK-based support, and whether failover is offered. Telexico’s own entries are our list prices. Where a provider has changed its terms since the date shown, the published source wins; tell us and we will correct it.

What BT Business’s published terms say.

Quoted or closely paraphrased from BT Business’s own terms, prices and published pages on the dates shown, with a link under each point. Clauses change: read the version attached to your own order before relying on anything here.

Minimum term

Business broadband deals are sold on “24-month contracts”, with “standard prices apply from month 25”. BT Cloud Voice licences are priced “a month per 60 month licence”; no shorter term is shown on the page.

Source

The April rise, in writing

For contracts taken from 2 December 2024, prices rise every 1 April by a fixed sum: broadband and digital phone line bundles +£4 a month, broadband only +£3, Cloud Voice +£1 per licence, Digital Voice +£1 per user. Older contracts keep CPI + 3.9%.

Source

Published prices

Cloud Voice Basic £10.52, Connect £13.74, Collaborate £20.09 a month per 60-month licence; Digital Voice for Business £15, £18 and £21 per user a month (ex VAT). Broadband pages show a percentage off rather than a price.

Source

Support

A “dedicated 24/7 UK-based helpdesk”, broadband faults targeted “within seven working hours”, contact by phone, chat and WhatsApp. A named account manager is not mentioned on the SME pages.

Source

Reviews and complaints

Trustpilot “BT Business”: 3.7 out of 5 from 16,214 reviews (56% five-star, 32% one-star). Ofcom’s Q1 2026 complaints data put BT fixed broadband at 7 complaints per 100,000 customers against an industry average of 6.

Source

What BT genuinely has

Openreach and EE under the same roof, a published price-rise schedule years ahead, EE 4G Hybrid Backup on Enhanced plans and a national engineering footprint.

Leaving BT cleanly

The notice window is the whole game.

BT’s SME pages do not state a notice period or an auto-renewal rule, so your order form and the terms attached to it are the only reliable source: find the end date, the notice required and whether anything renews. Then tell us the date; the switch is planned to land inside your window, numbers ported, nothing switched off early.

Tell us your end date →

Months away? The date goes into the director’s diary and we come back before the window closes, with a written quote to compare against the renewal.

How Telexico contracts

Four things that are the same on every Telexico agreement.

No long tie-ins

Rolling 30-day terms, or 12 months where handsets are included; the term and the notice period are written on the first page of the proposal. There is no automatic renewal clause: when a term ends you stay on 30-day rolling, nothing re-ties you for another year.

No mid-contract price rises

The per-user price you sign is the price for the term. There is no April uplift clause in a Telexico agreement.

Your numbers stay yours

Numbers port across on an agreed date, the new system runs alongside the old one until it is tested, and nothing is switched off early.

A UK team you can name

A named engineer and account manager from Wolverhampton, a WhatsApp group for your team, and a UK phone line answered by people who know your sites.

Trustpilot score shown for BT Business: 3.7 out of 5 from 16,214 reviews on 14 October 2026 (Trustpilot). Telexico is a competitor; judge the points above on the documents linked, not on us.
