Openreach full fibre for UK businesses.
Openreach FTTP delivered as a managed UK ISP service from Telexico — 500Mbps to 1Gbps symmetric, professional install, integration with VoIP and WiFi, 24/7 UK support. Real fibre to your premises, properly deployed.
What we hear every week.
The frustrations behind why businesses search for openreach full fibre for business in the first place. If any of these feel familiar, the fix is straightforward.
FTTC isn't 'full fibre' — most businesses still on copper-final-leg
FTTC is fibre to the cabinet then copper to your building. Maximum 80Mbps download, much less in many cases. Openreach FTTP is fibre all the way.
Coverage is uneven across the UK
Openreach has rolled FTTP to most urban and suburban UK, but plenty of buildings are still waiting. Some get it next month; some are years away. Address check is the only honest answer.
Some Openreach FTTP installs need on-site civils
Where the building isn't already FTTP-enabled, the install includes Openreach civils work — running fibre into the premises. Adds time and sometimes cost.
Carrier-direct installs without integration
Going direct to a tier-1 Openreach reseller usually means kit dropped on the desk and you configure it. Managed install integrates with VoIP, WiFi and the rest of your operation.
Openreach FTTP, deployed end-to-end by Telexico
Telexico deploys Openreach FTTP as a managed UK ISP service. Address-level availability check first (FTTP coverage varies postcode by postcode; we tell you honestly what's deliverable). Carrier coordination handled — we schedule the Openreach install, Telexico engineer attends, managed router commissioned, VoIP QoS and VLAN segregation configured, integration with WiFi and optional failover, full handover. Speeds 500Mbps-1Gbps symmetric for standard tiers; higher available on premium. 24/7 UK monitoring throughout the relationship.
The Telexico approach to openreach full fibre for business.
Six things our customers consistently tell us matter.
500Mbps-1Gbps+ symmetric
Real full fibre — same speed up and down — modern business operations supported.
Openreach FTTP availability check
Live address-level check on your unit before quoting — we know whether FTTP is deliverable now, deliverable later, or not deliverable.
Telexico engineer at the install
Not just the Openreach civil engineer — Telexico attends to commission the kit, configure the network, integrate VoIP.
Hosted VoIP integration
Managed router with QoS for voice traffic — hosted phones bundled on the same provider relationship.
Optional failover
Add 4G/5G or Starlink as a second path — fibre is reliable, failover is the resilience layer.
24/7 UK monitoring
We see Openreach incidents affecting your line and respond. Real UK engineers, not a tier-1 ticket queue.
Built around how UK businesses actually use connectivity
Modern operations are cloud-first — Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, hosted CRM, hosted VoIP, video conferencing, cloud backups. Openreach FTTP is the connectivity layer that supports this comfortably. We size around the workload (call volumes, video usage, peak times, multi-user patterns), pick the appropriate Openreach FTTP tier, and design the install around the building.
How it works for businesses like yours.
Three real-world setups we deliver across the UK.
Professional services on hosted VoIP
Solicitors, accountants, consultancies — FTTP plus hosted phones plus managed WiFi on one Telexico relationship.
Multi-site SMEs
Head office and satellites on consistent FTTP — site-to-site VPN or hosted VoIP linking sites together free.
Hospitality and retail
Restaurants, hotels, retail units — FTTP supports EPOS, guest WiFi, music streaming, back-of-house operations.
Why UK businesses choose Telexico for Openreach FTTP
Wolverhampton-headquartered UK ISP — we deploy Openreach products with managed install and ongoing UK support. Not a high-volume call-centre reseller. UK engineers, on-site at install, 24/7 monitoring, named account manager. One provider for FTTP plus VoIP plus WiFi plus AI receptionist plus optional CCTV via Telexico Security.
What you actually get from Telexico.
Honest about scope. No aggressive sales tactics, no surprise renewal jumps, no tier-1 call-centre triage. Real UK engineers, transparent pricing, one provider relationship across the stack.
UK-based provider
Wolverhampton-headquartered. Engineers cover the West Midlands daily; UK-wide install via our partner network. Real UK engineer support, UK data residency, UK contractual relationship — not US-routed SaaS.
Real engineer support
When you call Telexico, you reach someone who can actually fix things. Response SLA backed by real engineering capacity rather than call-centre headcount. Named account manager for ongoing customers.

Every engagement starts with a no-obligation audit of your current setup. Honest recommendation — sometimes that's "stay with your current provider after negotiation." We'd rather be honest than oversell.
Transparent pricing
What you sign for is what you pay — including renewal. No teaser pricing that jumps 30-100% at year two. No mid-contract CPI shock. Predictable multi-year cost from day one.

Frequently asked questions
Is Openreach FTTP the same as 'fibre broadband' I've been quoted?
Sometimes — depends on the reseller. Many providers still market FTTC as 'fibre broadband', which is misleading. Openreach FTTP is full fibre all the way to your building, with 500Mbps-1Gbps speeds. Always check the product code on the quote.
How fast is Openreach FTTP install?
Typically 10-15 working days where the building is already FTTP-enabled. Where the building isn't enabled yet, Openreach civils work is needed — adds 4-8 weeks typically, sometimes longer in complex builds. We confirm timescales after the address check.
What if Openreach FTTP isn't available at my address yet?
Options: CityFibre or altnet if available; FTTC as an interim until Openreach builds out; Starlink as primary or interim. We assess what's available and recommend honestly.
What speeds will I actually get?
Openreach FTTP delivers the headline speeds reliably in our installs. 500Mbps and 1Gbps packages deliver close to the advertised numbers — fibre doesn't suffer from the line-length attenuation that caps FTTC speeds.
Can you handle the Openreach civil engineer scheduling?
Yes — that's part of the managed install. We coordinate Openreach engineer slots, Telexico engineer attendance, and any building access requirements. You don't have to chase the carrier.
What about hosted VoIP on Openreach FTTP?
Standard inclusion. Telexico hosted VoIP runs natively over Openreach FTTP with QoS configured on the managed router. Number porting handled cleanly during install. Most customers bundle.
How does Openreach FTTP compare to CityFibre?
Both deliver real full fibre. Speeds similar at headline tiers. Coverage maps differ — some addresses have only one, some have both, some have neither yet. We deploy from both networks and recommend based on what's available at your unit.
