Our verdict

Where business fibre is available, it usually wins on latency and long-term cost. But Starlink is genuinely transformative for rural sites, construction and events, and sites waiting on fibre — and it makes an excellent failover link that doesn't share fibre's physical path. Many of our clients run fibre primary with Starlink or 4G/5G as backup. We manage either, professionally installed.

Frequently asked questions

Is Starlink good enough for business?

Yes — for many sites it delivers fast, reliable broadband, especially where fibre isn't an option. We supply managed business Starlink with professional install and support.

Is Starlink better than fibre?

Not usually, where fibre is available — fibre has lower latency and better value. Starlink wins when fibre can't reach you or as a backup.

Can I use Starlink as a backup to fibre?

Absolutely. Because it doesn't use the same physical lines, it's an excellent failover that keeps you online if fibre goes down.

How quickly can Starlink be installed?

Usually within days, with no groundworks — one of its biggest advantages over fibre at new or remote sites.
