B3 Communications alternative: what the 2026 terms actually commit you to.
B3 Communications is a young, fast-growing telecoms reseller with a very high Trustpilot score and a contract that renews itself. If you are weighing B3 against an alternative, or trying to leave, the questions are the renewal clause, how notice has to be given, the annual RPI rise, and what happens to the equipment finance.
Providers are compared on what each publishes: list prices and the conditions attached to them, minimum terms and mid-contract rises, what the price includes (calls, set-up, porting, support hours), UK-based support, and whether failover is offered. Telexico’s own entries are our list prices. Where a provider has changed its terms since the date shown, the published source wins; tell us and we will correct it.

B3 Communications in 2026.
B3 Communications Ltd was incorporated in March 2022 and is registered in Manchester, with offices in Southampton and Bournemouth. It sells cloud phone systems built on LG iPECS and Yealink handsets, unified communications, business broadband and connectivity, mobiles, IT support and on-hold marketing to UK SMEs, and describes its support team as UK-based and available seven days a week.
The company publishes no prices; its home page describes “transparent pricing” but every service is quoted. Its Trustpilot profile stood at 4.9 from 760 reviews on 13 October 2026, 97% of them five-star, which is the strongest score among the UK providers compared on this site. Those two facts sit side by side with a set of 2026 terms that deserve a careful read.

It renews itself
Clause 3.4: “Upon expiry of the Minimum Term, the Agreement shall automatically renew unless terminated with notice in accordance with clause 3.6.” Customers with more than ten employees renew for the same length as the original term; ten or fewer renew for 24 months (clause 3.5).
Notice has to be acknowledged
Clause 3.6 requires “at least ninety (90) days’ written notice”. Clause 13.3: notices go by email to terminations@b3communications.co.uk and are “deemed given only when the Customer receives an acknowledgement of receipt from B3”. Clause 13.3.1: “a request to port numbers, transfer services or engage a new provider does not constitute valid notice.”
RPI rises, capped at 10%
Clause 4.2: “Charges may increase annually in line with RPI, capped at ten percent (10%) per annum.” No month, notice period or price-rise exit right is stated.
Leaving early
Clause 13.1: 28 days’ notice plus termination fees of the average monthly charge over the last three bills multiplied by the months remaining, repayment in full of any buy-out, subsidy, discount or incentive, and “a cancellation fee of £50 for each Service or feature the Customer requests to cancel”.
Equipment on finance
Clause 5.9: “title remains with the Funder”; “signing any finance document, including the universal rental document constitutes a binding commitment to proceed”; “failure to obtain finance approval does not permit cancellation of this Agreement.” The funder and the lease term are not named in the terms.
B3 Communications and Telexico, on the points that decide it.
Telexico is a competitor, so judge this table on the facts in it: the B3 Communications column is from its published documents, the Telexico column from how we actually contract.
| What matters | B3 Communications | Telexico |
|---|---|---|
| Contract term and notice | Minimum term per order; renews automatically for the same term (24 months for ten or fewer staff) unless 90 days’ written, acknowledged notice | Rolling 30-day terms available, or 12 months where handsets are included; the term and notice period written on the first page of the proposal |
| Price rises | RPI each year, capped at 10% | No mid-contract price rises |
| Leaving early | Average monthly charge × months remaining, plus repayment of any incentive, plus £50 per service cancelled | Discussed openly before you sign; we plan switches around existing end dates |
| Handsets and equipment | iPECS and Yealink handsets on third-party finance; title stays with the funder | Standard SIP handsets you are not locked to; on 12-month terms they are included and become yours |
| Who supports you | UK-based, seven days a week (stated); account manager not mentioned | A named UK engineer; the person who set you up answers |
| Installation | National; offices in Manchester, Southampton and Bournemouth | On-site from Wolverhampton across the Midlands; UK partner engineers elsewhere |
| What sits on one bill | Phones, broadband, mobiles, IT support, on-hold marketing | Phones, full fibre or leased line, WiFi, 4G/5G failover, CCTV and AI on one bill |
| Published price | Quote only; no prices published | One per-user price per month quoted in writing before you sign, UK calls included; set-up and number porting free |

Who B3 Communications suits, and when to stay.
Who B3 Communications genuinely suits
B3 suits a business that wants an iPECS or Yealink system installed by a national reseller, is happy to finance the handsets separately, and values a provider with a near-perfect review score and seven-day UK support.
Why people look elsewhere
People look for a B3 alternative because of the renewal mechanics rather than the service: the automatic renewal for the full original term, the 90-day written notice that only counts once acknowledged, the RPI uplift, and finding that the handsets sit on a finance agreement with a different company and a different end date.
When to stay put
If you are inside the minimum term, note two dates in writing today: the service end date and the equipment finance end date. Send notice to the terminations address at least 90 days before the service term ends, keep the acknowledgement, and compare properly inside that window.
The main alternatives to B3 Communications in 2026.
Each suits a different kind of business. Ours is first; we have said plainly who the others are for.
Telexico: managed and local
A fully managed hosted phone system with the Telexico Mobile App, Web UC and standard desk phones, one per-user price quoted in writing, rolling 30-day terms available, no mid-contract price rises, your numbers ported, and a named UK engineer. Add full fibre or a leased line, WiFi, 4G/5G failover, CCTV and AI call answering on the same bill.
Gamma Horizon through a good partner
A solid hosted platform if you find a responsive reseller; many of the suppliers on this page sell it. You are still dealing through a partner, so judge the partner, not the platform.
RingCentral or 8x8
Enterprise cloud platforms with deep contact-centre tooling. Best for larger or international operations; more than most UK SMEs need.
Microsoft Teams Phone
Sensible if your business already lives in Microsoft 365. Telexico can supply Teams calling too, so this is not an either/or.
Self-service VoIP (bOnline, Yay.com)
Cheap and quick for a micro business happy to set everything up itself, with no on-site install or local support.
3CX, self-hosted or managed
A software PBX that is inexpensive at scale if you have IT to run it, or a partner such as Telexico to manage it for you.
How the switch from B3 Communications works.
1. Review
Send your B3 bill and the terms or renewal you have been offered. We list your numbers, users and end dates, and tell you what we would change, what it costs and whether staying is the better move.
2. Build alongside
We configure the new system, ship desk phones and set up the Telexico Mobile App while B3 keeps running. Nothing is switched off early.
3. Port and cut over
Your numbers port on an agreed date, usually one to three weeks from authorisation, with both systems tested side by side. Your named engineer stays with you afterwards.
The services behind the comparison.

Who they are
B3 Communications Ltd was incorporated on 17 March 2022, is registered in Manchester with offices in Southampton and Bournemouth, and sells LG iPECS and Yealink cloud phone systems, broadband, mobiles and IT support to UK SMEs.
SourceAutomatic renewal
The 2026 terms: “Upon expiry of the Minimum Term, the Agreement shall automatically renew” — for the same length as the original term for customers with more than ten employees, and for 24 months for ten or fewer.
SourceNotice, and what does not count
“At least ninety (90) days’ written notice” by email to terminations@b3communications.co.uk, “deemed given only when the Customer receives an acknowledgement of receipt from B3”; “a request to port numbers, transfer services or engage a new provider does not constitute valid notice.”
SourceThe annual rise and leaving early
“Charges may increase annually in line with RPI, capped at ten percent (10%) per annum.” Early exit means the average monthly charge times the months remaining, repayment of any buy-out or incentive, and £50 per service cancelled.
SourceEquipment and finance
Clause 5.9: “title remains with the Funder”; “signing any finance document, including the universal rental document constitutes a binding commitment to proceed”; “failure to obtain finance approval does not permit cancellation of this Agreement.” The funder and lease term are not named.
SourceSupport, prices and reviews
Support “based in the UK and … available 7 days a week”; no prices on the site. Trustpilot “B3communications”: 4.9 out of 5 from 760 reviews (97% five-star), with replies to 20% of negative reviews.
SourceThe notice window is the whole game.
Send written notice to terminations@b3communications.co.uk at least 90 days before the end of the minimum term and keep the acknowledgement, because a porting request or a new provider does not count as notice. Ask separately for the end date and settlement figure of any equipment finance. Tell us both dates and we plan the port for the service end date.
Tell us your end date →Months away? The date goes into the director’s diary and we come back before the window closes, with a written quote to compare against the renewal.
Four things that are the same on every Telexico agreement.
Rolling 30-day terms, or 12 months where handsets are included; the term and the notice period are written on the first page of the proposal. There is no automatic renewal clause: when a term ends you stay on 30-day rolling, nothing re-ties you for another year.
The per-user price you sign is the price for the term. There is no April uplift clause in a Telexico agreement.
Numbers port across on an agreed date, the new system runs alongside the old one until it is tested, and nothing is switched off early.
A named engineer and account manager from Wolverhampton, a WhatsApp group for your team, and a UK phone line answered by people who know your sites.
Trustpilot score shown for B3 Communications: 4.9 out of 5 from 760 reviews on 14 October 2026 (Trustpilot). Telexico is a competitor; judge the points above on the documents linked, not on us.
B3 Communications alternatives: your questions.
How do I give notice to B3 Communications?
Under B3’s 2026 terms, in writing by email to terminations@b3communications.co.uk at least 90 days before the end of the minimum or renewal term, and it only counts once B3 acknowledges receipt. Asking a new provider to port your numbers does not count as notice. Keep a copy and the acknowledgement.
Will my B3 contract renew automatically?
Yes, unless valid notice is given: for the same length as the original minimum term if you have more than ten employees, or for 24 months if you have ten or fewer (clauses 3.4 and 3.5 of the 2026 terms).
What happens to the handsets if I leave B3?
The terms say title to financed equipment remains with the funder and that signing the finance document is a binding commitment. Ask B3 and the funder in writing for the settlement figure and end date before you plan a move. Telexico’s handsets are standard SIP phones; on a 12-month term they are included and become yours.
Does Telexico tie me in the same way?
No. Telexico offers rolling 30-day terms, or 12 months where handsets are included, with no automatic renewal clause and no mid-contract price rises; the term and notice period are written on the first page of the proposal.
Compared the same way: dated terms, published prices, who each one suits.
