Starlink connectivity for UK warehouses.
Industrial estates with no viable FTTP, warehouse operations where leased-line civils are too slow, multi-site logistics with one or two awkward locations — Starlink delivers warehouse-grade connectivity where the ground network can't. Managed UK installation from Telexico.
What we hear every week.
The frustrations behind why businesses search for starlink for warehouses in the first place. If any of these feel familiar, the fix is straightforward.
Industrial estates that fibre forgot
Plenty of UK industrial estates still don't have viable FTTP — fibre rolled to the residential streets but skipped the trading estate. Leased-line civils to the unit are quoted at £30k upfront. Starlink works around it.
WMS and voice-pick choking on FTTC
Warehouse Management Systems, voice-pick headsets, IoT scanners and CCTV all hitting an FTTC line that was barely fit for an office. Modern warehouse operations need real bandwidth.
Multi-site logistics with one terrible location
A multi-site logistics operation with FTTP at five locations and FTTC-or-nothing at the sixth — the bad site holds back the whole operation. Starlink levels the network.
Roof-mounted Starlink at industrial scale
DIY Starlink kits on warehouse roofs without proper mounting, grounding or weatherproofing fail within a year. Professional install matters at industrial scale.
Starlink for UK warehouses, deployed properly
Telexico deploys Starlink Business at UK warehouse and industrial-estate addresses — proper roof or mast mount with grounding, weatherproof cable runs, integration with a managed router that supports WMS traffic, voice-pick headsets, CCTV and IoT on properly segregated VLANs. Optional 4G/5G failover where viable. The result: warehouse-grade connectivity that handles modern WMS, voice-pick, CCTV and IoT loads — at addresses where FTTP isn't available and leased line civils aren't viable.
The Telexico approach to starlink for warehouses.
Six things our customers consistently tell us matter.
Works at industrial-estate addresses fibre skipped
Wherever there's clear sky access, Starlink delivers real broadband — no waiting for fibre rollout, no leased-line civils.
WMS, voice-pick and IoT supported
Properly designed network with QoS for warehouse-critical traffic, VLAN segregation for scanners, voice-pick, CCTV and office.
Industrial-grade install
Roof or mast mount with proper grounding, weatherproof cable, indoor placement designed for warehouse environments.
Optional 4G/5G failover
Where cellular coverage is good enough, add a cellular backup for true resilience.
24/7 UK monitoring
We see degradation and respond before warehouse operations notice — critical for operations where minutes of downtime cost significantly.
Bundle with VoIP, WiFi, CCTV
One Telexico provider for the connectivity plus the phones plus the warehouse WiFi plus the Hikvision CCTV.
Built for UK warehouse operational reality
UK warehouses come in many shapes — third-party logistics 3PL operations, manufacturer distribution, e-commerce fulfilment, cold storage, automotive parts, retail support. Each has different connectivity demands. We design Starlink deployments around the actual operation: WMS traffic patterns, voice-pick coverage areas, CCTV camera count, EPOS for trade counters, office staff, and any specific industry software the operation runs.
How it works for businesses like yours.
Three real-world setups we deliver across the UK.
3PL warehouses on industrial fringes
Logistics warehouses where FTTP isn't available — Starlink delivers connectivity for WMS, voice-pick, CCTV, IoT.
New-build distribution centres awaiting fibre
New warehouses where fibre civils are 6-12 months out — Starlink keeps the operation moving from day one.
Multi-site logistics levelling up an awkward site
Operations with FTTP at most sites and one bad location — Starlink fills the gap so the whole estate has consistent connectivity.
Why UK warehouses choose Telexico for Starlink
We've deployed Starlink at UK warehouse and industrial-estate addresses — industrial roof mounts, professional cabling, integrated managed routers, VLAN-segregated networks for WMS and voice-pick. UK engineers, UK support, one provider for connectivity plus phones plus WiFi plus CCTV.
What you actually get from Telexico.
Honest about scope. No aggressive sales tactics, no surprise renewal jumps, no tier-1 call-centre triage. Real UK engineers, transparent pricing, one provider relationship across the stack.
UK-based provider
Wolverhampton-headquartered. Engineers cover the West Midlands daily; UK-wide install via our partner network. Real UK engineer support, UK data residency, UK contractual relationship — not US-routed SaaS.
Real engineer support
When you call Telexico, you reach someone who can actually fix things. Response SLA backed by real engineering capacity rather than call-centre headcount. Named account manager for ongoing customers.
Free infrastructure review
Every engagement starts with a no-obligation audit of your current setup. Honest recommendation — sometimes that's "stay with your current provider after negotiation." We'd rather be honest than oversell.
Transparent pricing
What you sign for is what you pay — including renewal. No teaser pricing that jumps 30-100% at year two. No mid-contract CPI shock. Predictable multi-year cost from day one.
One provider, one platform
Broadband, hosted VoIP, business WiFi, AI Receptionist, 4G/5G failover, CCTV consolidated onto one Telexico relationship. Single bill, single support number, single engineer when something needs attention.
Migration project-managed
Switching to Telexico isn't DIY. We handle contract audit, notice timing, ordering, parallel running, cutover, old-provider close-out. Customer-visible disruption typically measured in minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Can Starlink really handle warehouse WMS and voice-pick?
Yes — Business-tier Starlink delivers enough bandwidth and consistent enough latency for typical WMS handheld scanners and voice-pick headsets. We configure QoS so warehouse-critical traffic gets priority. We've installed this configuration at multiple UK warehouses.
What about CCTV bandwidth?
Multi-camera CCTV on Starlink works well, especially with proper VLAN segregation. We size the deployment around expected camera count and recording profile — typically 8-32 cameras per warehouse install, more for larger sites.
Roof mount or mast mount?
Depends on the building. Most UK warehouses have a roof position with clear sky view. Mast mounts are an alternative where the roof isn't viable or for retrofit installs. Survey first, then a firm install plan.
How does the install handle warehouse environments?
Outdoor antenna is rated for the environment. Indoor cable runs use industrial-grade cable. The router cabinet sits in a comms or back-office space where the rest of the network kit lives. We design around warehouse access and operational pattern.
What about scanners roaming across a large warehouse footprint?
Starlink provides the upstream connectivity; the in-warehouse WiFi for scanners is separate — designed around the warehouse layout with multiple access points. We handle the WiFi side as part of the same Telexico install.
Can we add 4G/5G failover?
Yes — where cellular coverage at the warehouse address is good enough. We assess as part of the survey. For warehouses where uptime is genuinely critical, dual-path (Starlink + 4G/5G, or Starlink + FTTP-when-available) is worth doing.
What's the install timeline?
Typically 2-4 weeks from order — hardware procurement, site survey, install scheduling. Much faster than fibre civils to a problematic industrial-estate address (which can be 6-12 months).
