CityFibre business full fibre, gigabit-symmetric.
Real gigabit symmetric full fibre from CityFibre — fibre to your premises, no copper involved, same speed up and down. Telexico deploys CityFibre's business full fibre across the UK with managed install and 24/7 support.
What we hear every week.
The frustrations behind why businesses search for cityfibre business full fibre in the first place. If any of these feel familiar, the fix is straightforward.
Existing 'fibre' that isn't really fibre
FTTC marketed as 'fibre broadband' is still copper for the final leg. CityFibre full fibre is fibre all the way — properly different product, properly different speeds.
CityFibre's build hasn't reached everywhere yet
Their network is dense in the towns they've built but doesn't cover all of the UK. Address check confirms whether your unit is in the build.
Asymmetric tiers from other providers when symmetric matters
Many providers default to asymmetric packages even for business. If upload matters (and modern cloud-first operations it does), symmetric is the right answer.
DIY installation that doesn't integrate properly
CityFibre kit dropped on the desk without integration with VoIP, WiFi, failover — wastes the capability. Managed deployment ties it together.
CityFibre gigabit symmetric, properly deployed
CityFibre's business full fibre delivers gigabit symmetric speeds (1Gbps up and down) at typical UK business addresses they've built to. Telexico deploys it as managed UK ISP service: line check, install coordination, Telexico engineer attendance, managed router commissioned with VoIP QoS and VLAN segregation, integration with business WiFi and optional 4G/5G or Starlink failover. The CityFibre symmetric architecture is well-suited to hosted VoIP, video collaboration, cloud backup and the rest of modern business workloads.
The Telexico approach to cityfibre business full fibre.
Six things our customers consistently tell us matter.
Gigabit symmetric standard
1Gbps up and down — same speed both ways, modern cloud workloads supported.
CityFibre availability check per address
Live check on your unit — sometimes available now, sometimes coming, sometimes not their network.
VoIP-ready
Symmetric upload plus managed QoS makes hosted VoIP work flawlessly — multiple concurrent calls without quality drop.
Optional failover
Add 4G/5G or Starlink as a second path — even full fibre needs failover for genuine resilience.
Managed install
Telexico engineer attends with the CityFibre engineer — kit doesn't get dropped on the desk.
24/7 UK monitoring
We see incidents and respond before they affect operations. Real UK engineers, not tier-1 scripts.
Built around how cloud-first UK businesses operate
Modern business operations run on cloud platforms — Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, hosted VoIP, video conferencing, cloud backup, cloud accounting and CRM. The upload bandwidth matters as much as the download. CityFibre's symmetric architecture is designed for this — and Telexico's managed install integrates it properly with the rest of your infrastructure.
How it works for businesses like yours.
Three real-world setups we deliver across the UK.
Cloud-first SMEs needing real symmetric upload
Professional services, agencies, tech SMEs — symmetric gigabit transforms cloud workflows.
Creative agencies and design studios
Big-file workflows — design upload, video render upload, photography deliveries — finally not bottlenecked.
Hybrid offices with heavy video
Multi-user video conferencing all day — gigabit symmetric handles it without contention drama.
Why UK businesses choose Telexico for CityFibre gigabit symmetric
Independent UK managed provider — we deploy CityFibre and Openreach, picking the network that fits your address and operation. Wolverhampton-headquartered. UK engineers, UK support. One provider relationship for fibre plus phones plus WiFi plus AI receptionist plus CCTV.
What you actually get from Telexico.
Honest about scope. No aggressive sales tactics, no surprise renewal jumps, no tier-1 call-centre triage. Real UK engineers, transparent pricing, one provider relationship across the stack.
UK-based provider
Wolverhampton-headquartered. Engineers cover the West Midlands daily; UK-wide install via our partner network. Real UK engineer support, UK data residency, UK contractual relationship — not US-routed SaaS.
Real engineer support
When you call Telexico, you reach someone who can actually fix things. Response SLA backed by real engineering capacity rather than call-centre headcount. Named account manager for ongoing customers.
Free infrastructure review
Every engagement starts with a no-obligation audit of your current setup. Honest recommendation — sometimes that's "stay with your current provider after negotiation." We'd rather be honest than oversell.
Transparent pricing
What you sign for is what you pay — including renewal. No teaser pricing that jumps 30-100% at year two. No mid-contract CPI shock. Predictable multi-year cost from day one.
One provider, one platform
Broadband, hosted VoIP, business WiFi, AI Receptionist, 4G/5G failover, CCTV consolidated onto one Telexico relationship. Single bill, single support number, single engineer when something needs attention.
Migration project-managed
Switching to Telexico isn't DIY. We handle contract audit, notice timing, ordering, parallel running, cutover, old-provider close-out. Customer-visible disruption typically measured in minutes.

Frequently asked questions
What's gigabit symmetric actually mean operationally?
1000Mbps download AND 1000Mbps upload — same speed both ways. A 10GB cloud backup uploads in roughly 80 seconds at theoretical maximum (real-world a bit longer). A video call uses about 5Mbps in each direction — gigabit allows hundreds of simultaneous calls. Most operations can't push these limits; it's headroom rather than ceiling-grinding.
How does CityFibre symmetric compare to Openreach FTTP symmetric?
Headline speeds similar. CityFibre is more often symmetric at competitive pricing. Openreach has symmetric tiers but pricing is sometimes higher. Real-world performance similar at the same tier. Coverage is the bigger variable than performance.
Will I notice the difference from FTTC?
Yes, significantly. FTTC's 10-20Mbps upload bottlenecks hosted VoIP, video calls, cloud backups, file uploads. Gigabit symmetric removes the bottleneck completely. Users typically notice within the first week — video calls just work, uploads just complete.
Is the speed actually delivered?
Yes, in our CityFibre installs. Fibre doesn't suffer the line-length attenuation of FTTC, so 1Gbps packages deliver close to advertised speeds. Some contention at carrier wholesale layer; not visible at typical SME loads.
What about latency?
Excellent — 5-15ms typical UK latency on CityFibre. Same range as Openreach FTTP. Comfortably supports voice, video and real-time applications.
Do I need anywhere near gigabit speeds?
Most SMEs don't need a full gigabit of bandwidth utilisation — but the headroom is useful for occasional peaks (multi-user video meetings, cloud backup running, big file uploads). The price difference between 500Mbps and 1Gbps is often small, making 1Gbps worth it for the future-proofing alone.
Can I bundle phones?
Yes — hosted VoIP from Telexico runs natively over CityFibre with QoS. Same provider relationship, same bill, same engineer for both.
