Hosted VoIP for UK offices.Cloud-based phones, no on-site PBX, ready in days.
Hosted VoIP replaces traditional office phone systems with software running in the cloud. No PBX cabinet, no maintenance contract, no per-extension hardware lock-in. Add users, change call routing, work from anywhere — all from a web portal. Telexico hosted VoIP is UK-based, business-grade, and supported by engineers you can actually reach.
What we hear every week.
The frustrations behind why businesses search for hosted voip for offices in the first place. If any of these feel familiar, the fix is straightforward.
"PBX cabinet is a relic."
Old PBX humming in the cupboard, vendor stopped supporting it years ago, every change needs an engineer callout, line rental compounding annually. Time to retire it.
"Hybrid working broke our phones."
Old PBX wasn't built for half the team working from home. Forwarding to mobile loses caller ID, doesn't record calls, breaks the brand. Hybrid is here to stay.
"Adding a user is a project."
New hire? Submit a request to the provider, wait a week, pay a setup fee, get a handset delivered, plug it in. Should be instant — it's 2026.
"Phones don't talk to our CRM."
Customer rings, reception has to manually find them in HubSpot/Salesforce. 30 seconds per call. Adds up. Modern systems show the caller's record automatically.
What hosted VoIP actually delivers.
Hosted VoIP = the entire phone system runs in our cloud. Your office uses softphone apps on laptops/mobiles, optionally IP handsets at desks. We provide the platform; you get unlimited UK calls, mobile + desktop apps, call recording, voicemail-to-email, CRM integration, call analytics, conference calling. Add users in seconds. Change call routing in real time. Work from anywhere as easily as from the office.
The Telexico approach to hosted voip for offices.
Six things our customers consistently tell us matter.
No on-site PBX
Phone system runs in our cloud, not your cupboard. No hardware to maintain, no maintenance contract, no engineer callouts for routine changes.
Mobile + desktop apps
Softphone apps on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac. Use your office number from anywhere. Hybrid workers get full office phone experience at home.
CRM integration
HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho — caller's record opens automatically when they ring. Click-to-call from any system. Call logging automatic.
Call analytics
Real-time dashboard of call volume, answer rates, missed calls, peak times. Useful for staffing decisions, sales performance tracking, customer service improvement.
Call recording
Record all calls (GDPR-compliant), specific calls, or training calls. Stored encrypted, retrievable for dispute resolution, training, compliance.
Instant changes
Add user, change routing, set up holiday greeting, redirect calls — all from a web portal. Real-time. No engineer callout needed.
Built around modern office working.
Modern offices are hybrid, cloud-first, fast-moving. Phone systems need to keep up. Hosted VoIP is the answer — and it's been the answer for years, but many businesses are still on legacy PBX because no one's helped them migrate. We do that cleanly. Setup in days, not months. UK support throughout.
How it works for businesses like yours.
Three real-world setups we deliver across the UK.
10-person office
Hosted VoIP for all 10 users, CRM integration, mobile apps for hybrid workers. Costs typically lower than legacy PBX with more features. Setup in 3-5 working days.
50-person office
Departmental call routing, ring groups, call analytics, hunt groups. Reception softphone with full call control. CRM integration deployed across the team. Setup in 7-10 days.
Multi-site or hybrid-heavy office
All sites and home workers on one phone system. Site-aware caller ID, central management, unified analytics. Hybrid workers feel office-connected even from home.
UK-hosted, UK-supported VoIP.
We operate UK-based VoIP infrastructure — calls stay in-country, hosted in UK data centres, supported by UK engineers. Migration from legacy PBX handled cleanly, number porting in 5-10 working days, no business disruption. Same engineers who set you up answer the support call.
What you actually get from Telexico.
Honest about scope. No aggressive sales tactics, no surprise renewal jumps, no tier-1 call-centre triage. Real UK engineers, transparent pricing, one provider relationship across the stack.
UK-based provider
Wolverhampton-headquartered. Engineers cover the West Midlands daily; UK-wide install via our partner network. Real UK engineer support, UK data residency, UK contractual relationship — not US-routed SaaS.
Real engineer support
When you call Telexico, you reach someone who can actually fix things. Response SLA backed by real engineering capacity rather than call-centre headcount. Named account manager for ongoing customers.
Free infrastructure review
Every engagement starts with a no-obligation audit of your current setup. Honest recommendation — sometimes that's "stay with your current provider after negotiation." We'd rather be honest than oversell.
Transparent pricing
What you sign for is what you pay — including renewal. No teaser pricing that jumps 30-100% at year two. No mid-contract CPI shock. Predictable multi-year cost from day one.
One provider, one platform
Broadband, hosted VoIP, business WiFi, AI Receptionist, 4G/5G failover, CCTV consolidated onto one Telexico relationship. Single bill, single support number, single engineer when something needs attention.
Migration project-managed
Switching to Telexico isn't DIY. We handle contract audit, notice timing, ordering, parallel running, cutover, old-provider close-out. Customer-visible disruption typically measured in minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Will my existing phone numbers transfer?
Yes — we port all your existing numbers (landlines, 0800/0345, mobile-style numbers) across to the hosted platform. Porting takes 5-10 working days. Your old PBX stays live during transition until you cut over.
Do I need new handsets?
Optional. Modern Yealink, Polycom, Snom IP handsets work directly. Older proprietary handsets from your legacy PBX usually need replacing — but you can also run entirely on softphone apps (laptop + mobile) with no physical handsets at all. Many offices do.
What internet speed do I need?
Roughly 100kbps per concurrent call. 10 simultaneous calls = 1Mbps. Standard business broadband handles 100+ concurrent calls comfortably. We check your connection during the survey.
Will calls drop if the office internet goes down?
Without failover: yes. With failover (which we recommend and usually include): no — calls route to mobile apps on 4G/5G automatically. Office stays reachable.
How does the CRM integration work?
When a known contact rings, their CRM record opens automatically on the receiving user's screen. Click-to-call from any CRM record dials directly. Call notes log back to the CRM record. Works with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Dynamics, Zoho and others.
What's the difference between hosted VoIP and on-premise VoIP?
On-premise = the phone system server lives in your office. You maintain it. Hosted = it lives in our cloud. We maintain it. Hosted is now standard for most SMB offices because it's lower-cost, more flexible, and supports hybrid working out of the box.
How quickly can we go live?
Small offices (under 10 users): 3-5 working days. Medium offices (10-50): 7-10 working days. Larger or more complex setups: 2-3 weeks. Number porting runs in parallel. Old system stays live until new system is proven.
