The GRP2612, in plain English.
The GRP2612 is the workhorse of the Grandstream GRP series and the phone Telexico specifies most often for general office desks. Four multi-purpose line keys sit beside a 2.4-inch colour display, and sixteen virtual multi-purpose keys give busy-lamp fields, speed dials and shared line appearance without an expansion module.
Three builds cover every desk. The GRP2612 is mains powered. The GRP2612P adds integrated PoE for sites with powered switches. The GRP2612W adds dual-band Wi-Fi as well as PoE, which puts a full desk phone on a reception counter, a meeting room or a shop floor where running a cable is impractical. All three share the same HD audio, codecs and carrier-grade security.
Every GRP2612 we supply is configured from the Telexico portal before dispatch: extension, key layout, directory and call groups are set on a picture of the handset and pushed to the phone, and the same screen re-keys it in minutes when someone moves desk.
Highlights
- A colour screen and sixteen virtual keys on a phone priced for whole-office roll-outs
- The GRP2612W runs on dual-band Wi-Fi, so a desk with no network point still gets a proper phone
- Swappable faceplate for your own logo
- Provisioned from the Telexico portal: keys, directory and firmware without a site visit
Best for
- General office desks
- Sales and service teams
- Wi-Fi-only positions (W model)
- Multi-site roll-outs

Grandstream GRP2612: your questions.
Which GRP2612 model do I need?
GRP2612 if the desk has a network point and no PoE switch; GRP2612P if your switch provides PoE; GRP2612W if the desk has no network cable and should join the business Wi-Fi. We confirm this from your site survey rather than leaving it to guesswork.
How many extensions can it monitor?
Up to 16 digital BLF keys across the virtual multi-purpose keys, enough to watch a small team and transfer with one touch. Reception positions that monitor more extensions are better served by the GRP2615 with a GBX20 module.
Is the GRP2612W as reliable as a cabled phone?
On a properly designed business Wi-Fi network, yes: it supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and roams between access points. We design and supply the Wi-Fi 6 network it runs on where a site needs one.
